Current activities include:

Playgroup, Monday : relaxed, friendly families
Preschool Tuesdays to Fridays: registered teachers, E.C.E. subsidies may apply – ask our friendly teachers
Fit 4 Fun : all ages, all abilities, get moving with Brenda Preece
Youth action group : 11-18 yrs, have fun, plan cool things for Tahunanui
Yoga : with Sue Cleaver, flexibility and strength for all levels
Sewing : bring in an upcycling project, save money, machines and help
Youth drop in café : for 11-15 years, fun, music, activities, great food!
CRAFTernoon tea : bring a craft project, enjoy afternoon tea and a chat
UPcycle sewing : refresh retro clothing with Rebekah Wyatt from Restore
Circuit training : improve fitness and flexibility with Marion West
Garden group : tours of gardens followed by a café visit, with Cushla Vass
Community gardens : volunteer-led gardens for all, friendly group, share skills
Cards and games : every fortnight, includes afternoon tea
Book club : first Thursday of the month, different themes, relaxed group
Pilates : improve posture, balance and tone with Marion West
Art group : bring along any project, all levels, very friendly and mutually supportive group
S.A.S.S. Silly as Sunday Society : all women, all ages, all fun! Venue: changes, contact us

Occasional / one-off activities

Boomerang bags : join the sewing bee, or fold and iron with Lani B; see the ’Boomerang Bags Nelson’ Facebook group for details of when they are at the community centre
